A rare interview with Mary Oliver - On Being

seville-oranges-marmalade

Mary Oliver is my favourite poet. I know I'm not alone. As I sit here at my kitchen table shredding oranges and hearing her grace and humour shine, I feel grateful for technology and how it has opened up so many windows in this the world. Yes it can be troublesome. Of course, it can be distracting, bombarding even. But did you ever think you'd be able to listen to the voice of Mary Oliver as you're making marmalade on a sunny Sunday afternoon? I didn't. It's a gift.
